UNDERCOVER INVESTIGATION INTO TEXAS CATTLE AUCTION

New video of an undercover investigation at Erath County Dairy Sales, a live animal auction located in Dublin, Texas where major beef producers such as JBS and FPL Foods have purchased cows for slaughter, reveals extreme cruelty and pervasive illegal activity that could directly impact the safety of our food system.

As covered in The Guardian: Alleged animal abuse in US dairy sector under investigation.

WHAT THIS INVESTIGATION REVEALS

SEED’s new undercover investigation, conducted over the course of 8 weeks at Erath County Dairy Sales (ECDS) in Texas, reveals systemic cruelty and animal abuse, as well as illegal activity that directly impacts the safety of our food system.

The practice of removing and replacing the cows’ Animal Disease Traceability (ADT) tags, documented by our undercover investigator while employed at ECDS, poses a severe threat to human health, as the diseases traced by the tags could potentially be at the center of a zoonotic or food-borne illness outbreak.
